I just put my stock one on the uprated one I fitted, Ive noticed it doesnt come on as often as before but it still does sometimes in traffic etc, so I'd say its worth keeping

You can run without them, probaly not too much of an issue at this time of year, but definately in the summer I wouldn't want to go for too long without one.

Out of interest why are you removing the fan? If you do, you will have to take the warning bulb out of the dash or it'll come on all the time.

would a GReddy type shroud work on one of them? I'm assuming its the same size core.

Alternatively you could use the mounting pins for PACET fans available from Demon Tweeks for a couple of £

I have just had my pheonix power intercooler installed on mine

I bought the after market fan from chris gts

Then took it to Luke at Pacific Works, he has a welder company just next door to him. The guy welded it and Luke fitted it, very quick and excellent work.

Contact Luke, see what he says.
