It`s coming on boost as normal, starting to think it`s a fueling issue

id get someone to check your timing and your cam belt, then if all is well look into other things ie; fueling and afm

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Where Has the Power Gone????????????
well i think i`ve found the problem it`s the afm, between terminals vs - e2 i should get a reading between 200ohms and 400ohms i get about .5kohms.
I can get the correct resistance value if i bang the afm a few time then i get a value off around 399ohms which is just in the limits. But a few more bangs and i lose it again.
sooo.........

Well if you out and about that would be spot on, i think i`m getting one anyway because off the situation of having to bang it to get a good reading. pretty sure this is the problem.
Never tried resetting the ecu because never got any fault codes on the diagnostic.
Cheers dave

Mine wouldn't make boost when I had a blocked exhaust.
