One option is to get inserts for the original engine mounts:

I've installed these on my MR2, they've helped reduce engine movement loads, but they do increase the vibration felt in the cabin. As they're inserts, you still have the option of going back to the original mounts easily.

Hmmm. Don't get poly mounts if you appreciate a bit of refinement. I know it's a performance car, but IMO polymounts ruin a daily driver. There is a very noticeable improvement in the drive train response, but the vibration will get right on your titties

The furthest I would go is TRD mounts which are a great compromise, but standard mounts are ideal.

Depends what you want, but be warned. There is a reason why all road cars have compliant engine mounts.

sorry for the hijack, but i've fitted the speedsource poly mounts to the front and back mounts, but im sure i need to do the sides as well. are they the same dimensions? can i just order another set of the speedsource ones, as ttheir info only says theyre for the front and back mounts.

You only need front and back, yeh the vibration is a pain but what a better driving machine. It all depends what you want,me ,I suffer anything for performance.Gts Chris £90.

yeah, feels much better now ive done them and to be honest i dont really notice the extra vibration and noise as much as i did when i first did them. although sayin that they were completely shot when i removed them so even replacing with oem would have caused an increase in noise/vibration i reckon.
