Can anyone advise me if a rev1 turbo gearbox will fit a rev3 engine.
Many Thanks

Same clutch, so same input shaft.

Rev1 gearbox is not as robust, and many that are for sale have worn synchros, so not sure why you wouldn't stick to Rev3.

LSD/non-LSD inner driveshafts are different so you'll need to ensure driveshafts match gearbox.

What is different on the LSD driveshafts please

Peter

Thanks for the advice, I've still got a rev1 gearbox off the old car, but currently have a rev3 so was hoping to use that rather than forking out on a recon unit.
Cheers Steve
