I love my car.



Very few MR2's were produced in this colour yellow.

Even fewer were tin tops.

Only one has a V6...


Coolest of them all though, has to be Cosmos Blue.

from a paint sprayers point of view ! black is a colour that is hard work to look after . black shows the slightest imperfection in paint or dents. black usually shows more stone chips than any other colour . while black tends to hide curves and contours of a car i will say that there is something about black cars on the whole ! a highly polished black car is very pleasing.
white on the other hand is opposite to black , it hides scratches , dents but needs alot more cleaning . but i have to say white cars with black trim looks the muts nuts in my opinion . but RED with black trim looks equally good ( i have to say that )

the most soothing colour to eye is yellow ! i love yellow with black trim .

Finally! Somebody who understands that black doesn't hide the lines

Most people seem to think black hides curves, quite the opposite, if the cars polished black will show more lines/curves than any other colour, it's all about the light reflectance value, black (paint) and white (shiney polish) had the biggest LRV possible, hence showing off the curves. Red's pretty good too because of the contrast and that's why white hides minor dings

To the original question, black is the nicest IMO, i like most of the colours, as chrispy said white with white wheels looks ace, too much cleaning tho for our weather, plus with a black car all alloys look nice, tho if your going for black you MUST have a polished lip

my car has changed a little bit since this photo but i think the colour is nothing but outstanding, only in bright sunlight mind




Actually looking at this photo it isn't showing anywhere near the brightness it should, i willl see what else i can find

bad pic but a bit of sun , this was just after the respray and the panels were thrown on as there was no time to allign them, gives a rough idea of the colour the whole car is in some sunlight though...

yellow is an ace colour for the two but so is red/white and blue


next time your driving about with a friend try playing "yellow car", it's just a game to see who can spot the most yellow cars, over a few months you will get sick of them

Not Rev 3's mate. Mine is the only one. Ginja's is a rev 1, and a totally different colour.
