You can get boost spiking not a good idea keep the pipes as close as possible

so the wee blue pipe on the right is blanked off??
just making sure coz it looks like 3 pipes but i know it's obv only 2.

so the 2 you've circled i just use a bit of pipe with a wee bolt in the end to blank off, ok, seems fairly simple, much the same as my 200sx, got to make sure with these things though

hi yeah you just blank off the 2 pipes on the right i used 6mm bolts as bungs. This disables the tvsv which then allows you full boost in 1st & 2nd gear.

The other 2 pipes on the left go to the MBC

pretty simple job takes half hour max :thumleft:

forgive me if i'm wrong but i believe the MBC in the first post is one of the switchable dual setting types becomig popular now, enables you to set 2 individually adjustable boost levels and switch between them, been researching turbos for my next toy :D

even if it were switchable, unless it was mounted in the cabin it would be useless, if you gotta pull over & get out to switch it, you may as well just turn the screw on a standard MBC. The brass one in the second post (and which i have fitted to my car) is tried and tested.
