205/45/16 front
235/40/17 rear

What is the best pressure for this set up?

30 front, 32 rear?

best pressure is what suits your own style of driving. Those figures are a good baseline but nothing is universally perfect :eye:

I agree with allan. I personally run 33 front and 35 rear but I have Toyo's which perform best at slightly higher pressures.

speak to the tyre manufacturers, they can advise on this better than anyoje. theyre normally very helpful with this kind of thing

25psi front, 30psi rear..

Depends on tyre choice and suspension setup etc too. I run 27 front 30 rear on F1s and coilovers (215/40/17, 245/40/17), any higher and I get ABS/grip issues on braking and central tyre wear = overinflation, and any lower grip is compromised.

Good to know about this mate. It was always a grey point for me as I'm running Toyos on a 17" too. Might give that a go instead of 30.

Depends on tyre of course, but I run 27psi on my 205/45 R16 fronts after getting advice from Leeroy a while back. Made a huge difference from running 29/30psi previously which was too hard and made the front un-settled on bumpy surfaces.

I would recommend you try around 27psi and see how you get on. I found the handling much improved when I tried it :thumleft:
