have since seen that one of the old school avcr connectors slotted onto it.
Tho confused why a avcr kit would come with an oem unit.
Well it wasn't plugged into anything. Pulled it out went for a drive and all is well.

loks ike the female end of the boost pressure sensor, sholud be located next to the diag port, the vacum tube running into the underside of it is where yoou splice into for an aftermarkrt boost gauge extra vacum line.

Its a denso 3bar map sensor.

Comes with some of the powerfc boost controller kits.

Seems someone needed something to read more than 1.6bar (stock map sensor limit)

So what should I be doing with it?
As it wasn't plugged into anything, just spliced/t'd where I said.
The old avcr I found in the car, unhooked, one of the connectors seemed to fit. Tho not sure if it's coincedence.

So perhaps it used to run on a power fc controller? That's since been removed?

Imo guessing this car has seen some boost, LOL.
