Post by Sideways Si »

Hi

I need to get as much feedback as possible from people that have taken there cars this far, and which path they chose, and why!..

Please could you list your fueling setup. ie.

1 pump bosch 044 in tank
Sard rail
1000cc Injectors..

Your feedback is much appreciated..

Thanks

An in tank pump used a s a lifter to decent swirl pot, and a Bosch 044 pump to the rail will definately improve matters. I ran just a 255lph pump on my old car and it started running out of fuel at high boost.

Injector wise, you've got exactly the same as I had, which will suffice to way past 500bhp.

My car is being fuelled for 600bhp (flywheel)

Stock pump to supply swirl pot. External Porsche pump feeding 4x 330cc and 4x 660cc injectors. Full braided lines.

A bosch 044 will supply enough fuel for 600hp.

I would say that it is important to be running JIC 6 lines from you fuel tank to your rail.

I have a set of 1000cc delphi's here is you are interested.

Yeah, its all been done by them. I gave them free run on it. Just said what turbo I was running, what power I wanted and that I wanted an intercooler in the boot. Pipework, fuel system, loom all being designed by them. All the fuel system parts are being sourced by them, but anything that I can get for them I am doing so.

I mentioned to him that you were considering a second set of injectors and he said you're welcome to go to them as they've got all the bits there and know what they're doing with the RMR stuff. They use it all on their Golfs. When I dropped the Manifold up there he said it looked familiar, went to his bench and picked up a VeeDub one that they had ready for fitting. :thumleft:

Idles @ 1500 but that's due to the cams and needing to keep the oil pressure up.
