As above really. Just had all the bodywork it needed done and it's at Pacific Works today for all new suspension. Next up is retrimming the seats and a few other bits but... where have peps taken to get their cars done in the past and at what sort of cost?
I'm looking for people with good first hand recommendations. If you'd like to post pics all the better.

Looks good mate, thx. Did you do yourself or was it the work of professionals. What sort of cost? It seems I could buy good leather seats from a rev 4/5 for about £300. How does retrimming compare?
Any info greatly appreciated.

I was quoted £85 just to have my driver's bolster done in leather but didnt take it any further. Ive also just bought a set of alacanthra seats where the previous owner had the bolster repaired and it seems like a good job.
I would just try yellow pages for a local company but as a guess I think your looing at £300-400

Have you looked at Rogue mate? About £500ish to have both seats completely re-trimmed, probably gonna go down this route myself eventually. They've got pics on their site http://www.roguesystems.co.uk/forms/pro ... spx?cat=17
edit: Just looked at the site and i think they might have discontinued this service, might be worth a phonecall though.

Thx for the replies folks. Rogue don't do the service any longer so not an option unfortunately and prob too dear anyway. Reckon I can get excellent 2nd hand standards if I keep my eyes open for £300ish. May have to go this route by the looks of it.

If you get original Toyota leather seats don't forget to ask for the door cards too
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] re-upholstering, how much and where?
Ive replaced the cloth seats and doorcards on all 3 of my cars with 1/2 leather/alacanthra (best option IMO) and I usually pay between £100-120 for the seats and £35-50 for cards - all in good condition :-)

Try LSC interiors
Bit pricey but from what i've heard, spot on.

......interesting, thx. Not the colours I'd want but it does start to put some pricing in perspective. Anybody else out there had a full retrim?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] re-upholstering, how much and where?
Well made an enquiry through LSC... £525 for seats and doorcards in leather (backs of seats PVC as they are on the originals... another £50 gets leather backs). £20 for a gaitor.
It's a lot dearer than I might pick up a good standard set for but then this way I can choose and/or combine different colours which may sway it..... Hmm, got some thinking to do.
Thx all

Sorry that should read an extra £125 for seat backs in leather, not £50.

Just to give a balanced view, have you considered PU Leatherette covers, Glamouride do them (http://www.glamouride.co.uk/) the ones on the website are general purpose, but they do made to measure IE from a pattern for most cars inc MR2's. See http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-MR2-LEATHE ... .m20.l1116
Now i'm not saying they're fantastic, but if your on a budget and just need something a bit better than cloth, might be worth investigating
