Thinking of getting an alarm upgrade for the mr2 but I also want a turbo timer, has anyone had or know of any issues with alarms and timers?

I think theres only 1 out thats a CAT1 that has a built in timer, might have been one of the clifford alarms? for an alarm to be a Cat1 it shouldnt be able to run when armed because of the immobiliser.
