[Mk2] [Generic] For Sale ads

Post by Roadster-2 »

Well, I was going to post a For Sale ad for an MR2 item but as the forum has been restricted to Premium Membership I'll post the ad somewhere else and IMOC UK Users will miss out on it.

Who's bright idea was that.

i dont think £7.50 is much to ask for the wealth of knowledge and advice this forum offers  . you could always sell it on ebay and pay the extorsionate ebay fees.....

As stated above running IMOC is not cheap! If it was not for the very valuable contribution that our members and affiliates make there would simply be no IMOC-UK.
For the £7.50 (which works out a little more than 2p per day) you can get a multitude of savings which would easily save you 3, 4 or 5 times the membership fee.
Also, at this years JAE, IMOC is laying on a free hog roast to all our valued members as well as making a hefty contribution towards the show stand and the camping plot, and also the hire of a generator and lighting rigs.
You would of course only benefit from this if JAE was attended.

Making the 'For Sale' forums Premium only is just one step that assures that our valued 'Premium Members' get a benefit that is not available to all.

Soooo you want to advertise for nothing, put in nothing and walk away having used the site which is handily there as if by magic to sell your item? Guess we'll have to just miss out then. Bye.

12 posts in 3.5years. How many others were "me me me" posts too?

as pointed out, once again the owt for nowt brigade rears its ugly head.its time every member on here appreciated what, they gain from being a member of a great club.in my humble opinion everyone, after being allowed limited access, should either pay up or ship out.(waits for certain abuse!)this sort of attitude reminds me of the people who have a problem, when it comes to their turn to pay for a round of drinks  paul.
