depends what rev car you have, Rev3 turbo is limited to 7psi in 1st & 2nd gear then runs 13psi max through 3rd 4th & 5th gears. Had mine Dyno,d it hit 1bar which is 14psi on the printout graph but was probably actually 13psi. The car was standard. I think rev1/2 cars run about 10psi standard. The compression ratio was lowered on the rev3 to allow the increase in boost.

the vsv only limits you 2-3psi in first and second gear.
1bar is 14.7psi, jeeez why not just google bar and psi conversion, pmsl.
Rev1/2 run 10/11psi as stock in third gear and upwards, so 7-8psi in first and second. Rev3s run 13psi stock in third and up and 10-11psi in first and second. 1bar is much closer to 15psi than it is 13, that's for sure.

1bar on a rev1 should be safe enough with bolt ons, tho you'd need a fuel cut defender to get that high.

My standard rev 3 usually hits 0.9 bar but occasionally manages 1 bar. I know 0.9 bar is 13psi. My aftermarket exhaust and filter must help it spool better.

so its safe enough to run the psi settings from a rev 3 on to a rev 1 using a boost controller
