[Mk2] [Generic] Anyone know any more about these rear light louvres?

I'm sure its been bandied about a lot as I've seen it a few times before but always interesting for a look

Here's the screen of the things in question:

Not great but it looks like ti came from a VHS source or something, and I can't find ANYTHING else on the web about it, anywhere!

Looks like some kind of Ferrari 348-style louvre over rev1-2 rear lights?

Which suggests it's a Tom's part, but only gives us the price (in yen) and part number.

Thanks Duke! With that little bit more information I managed to find a single pic -



But again I've reached a dead end. I've never seen this piece on anything except the white Tom's demo car, or for sale anywhere, or anything. Does anybody have any more info?

toms dont produce parts for the mr2 anymore, ive seen this part for sale once on a jap auction site. think its gonna be near impossible to get 1. if i were u id look into gettin your own made up

Not really a big fan of tinted lights. For me the appeal isn't really the darkness of the lights but the actual grill over the top - I guess it's hard to explain, but I love it

Will have to look into maybe knocking up some parts myself then maybe as the Tom's one sounds impossible to come by (and probably really expensive if it ever does!)

that sort of vented plastic cant be that har d to come by. then with a bit of heat you could probably bend it to shape? good luck m8 hope you acheive the look ur going 4
