is that the dreaded head gasket :pale: , it may explain why I have crap performance/bit sluggish. please tell me different :thumleft:

Could be but could also be general moisture collecting and turning to the dreaded mayo due to lots of short journeys.

If you have only been tootling around of late wipe it off, check your oil and coolant levels (and smell / colours) and then go out for a nice long drive. Check things again when you get back and if it's clear I suspect you'll be fine.

The performance issues could be down to all kinds of things - has it had a service recently?

I suppose it could just be condensation but I never see any mayo in my oil filler cap even after short journeys. Best get a sniffer test done to rule out HG.
