[Mk2] [Generic] Wheel spacers

Post by skytek »

Hi chaps :sunny:

I need to get a pair of wheel spacers to sort an issue with my front wheels not quite lining up with the trd body kit. I have found these

http://www.wheels.uk.com/acatalog/wheel ... tem-5.html

but it says "Please state the present wheel bolts (Taper or ball seating),when ordering" and I'm not sure which I should specify. They are to go onto a normal rev2 hub. Does anyone know which I should spicify?

Thanks!! :thumleft:

It is refering to the seat of the nuts used on your after market rims. The majority use taper (ball seat/radius are used by VW, Seat, Audi, Skoda, Porsche on factory fitted wheels) Take one of your wheel nuts off and check the seat, It should either be a straight 60 degree line (taper) or curved (radius/ball seat) If your uncertain throw up a piccy and i'll confirm which one it is.

EDIT: "borrowed" this pic from another website to explain better

it's the shape of the hole in the wheel that counts, not the hub
