[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 conversion issues

Post by THE DUKE »

The amount of questions i ask is just silly!

Ok! All in...

Car will not start (didn't think it would), alarm constantly sounds and my stock toyota boost gauge goes through the roof.

The alarm is linked into the car body wiring loom so i would guess by repinning the ecu one of the wires to the alarm thinks its being hijacked, so i have a constant car alarm. Fun

As for the toyota boost gauge going straight to the top when i turn the car over??? I have no idea..

Anyone else have any rev 3 conversions issues like this.

As said chap in the pm

What did you do when pinning the ecu? e.g. give me a list of wires you've changed

Close up pics would be good of the ecu cabling So i can see teh colors

Copied wire diagram from the 2bartuning website, which i cross referenced with other diagrams, all seem correct.

Re-pinned back to rev 1 settings with rev 1 ecu and i now have no alarm..

Yey.. So i can rule out the alarm by back tracking the loom to the ecu point.
