Rocker Covers

Post by PJ3074 »

Seen a few pics now of people's Cam Covers looking really tidy in bright silver with Red or Blue Paint up for the 16v logo etc.

I'm assuming this is DIY stuff, so wanna know whats required in terms of best materials for the job or if its a send away somewhere job, then how much and where?

Cheers :thumleft:

I am in the process of getting some powder coated and lettered. if you want to go down the DIY route its not difficult just time consuming. several people have posted about it do a seach with the super duper user friendly totally simple search facility. #-o

Yeah...thats my only criticism of the site is that you have to manually trawl the pages (which I can't be ar5ed)...so I've probably added this for the million'th time

Plasticote enamel primer and silver spray paint for the covers, Humbrol or similar brush on enamel paint for the lettering.

Searching IS easy.

Try a search for "paint cam covers" , "search for all terms" selected and as I know a lot of you never venture from the mk1 area "mk1 club" selected in forum. easy
