[Mk2] [Turbo] New Exhaust, what do you think

Post by Steve-O 2007 »

Should have a Motoria Exhaust soon from SW20Paul. I couldnt wait to see what it would be like so photoshopped it to my car  , what do you think? I think it fills the gap inbetween the 2x pipes quite well

Image

Cant wait to get it fitted now

Whats the Noise difference like with these compaired to the Blueflame?

nice

do you think its one of the loudest twin exits available?

I wanted a Nur Spec but then decided I wanted to keep the twin exit look :thumleft:

Yes

Do like the look of the Nur, the only single exit I'd have, but it has to be twin for me too 8)

i think the exhausts look well cool, sound pretty good as well, so much better/louder/deeper than a blueflame

Adobe Photoshop CS2

Dont ask me any technical things on it as I have no idea lol  , I just fiddle around with the basic features, theres tons of things that can be done with it if you become a pro but Im along way from that :thumleft:

To do that pic I used a pic of mine and a pic of Spittinflames both from the same angle and opened them both in photoshop. Then I moved my number plate and cut spittinflames exhaust out, pasted it onto my cars picture, turned it alittle to straighten it and put it in place. Then I set my number plate to the layer above the exhaust (so it wouldnt be covered by the exhaust) and put the plate back where it should be. To finish it off I darkened the exhaust as it was too light for my pic and then merged the 3 layers (Main pic, Exhaust and number plate) back together and saved.

Great :D, I like the noise of the Blueflame when hammering it but I like the look of having the 2x boxes on show :)

Can I use the Blueflame Flexi section with this exhaust or will I have to use the Motoria Flexi section (is there a difference in them)? Would save time if I didnt have to change the Flexi I think :)

Thanks

This is how they sound, My old car.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrIpRZnG0OU

Motoria twin, with tb downpipe and stage 3 hybrid.

Not me driving it but a mate, hence the low revs and crappy gear changes.

And just incase anyones interested, heres a clip to compare it with

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA2NB8AtLXY

Thats with a nur spec fitted.

The two Flexis are different mate ,Motoria one is shorter,
I know because ive just bought a motoria one, hoping it would fit my blueflame
So if you sell the blueflame one give me a shout?

I would say a different tone altogether:-nur spec Is deep and drony my ears hurt after a ten mile trip. This one Is kind of like a single exit tune more raspy a bit like the hks superdrager but a bit louder and the note changes when giving It beans and especially when off throttle It then makes another type of sound all darn good. The nur spec was a bit like the apexi n1 full on at all levels but more boomy!

Looks good mate - I have a departure exhaust and it looks almost identical on the car.

Have you cut off the little black valance under the bumper already or is that your intention once the exhaust arrives? Its a good look I think.

If you manage to keep yours that shiny once its on the car for real please tell me how! I give my exhaust a good scrub once a week but never get the shine I would like.
