i take it that you are running 87mm pistons the same as me... im hoping that the block doesnt crack on mine.

Have you not sleeved your block? I see that you have a girdle on the bottom end, where did you get it? I have only seen 1 company selling them in the states.

Jase,

Yep 87mm hks stroker pistons, no sleeves, keep our fingers crossed!

The block girdle is by medpilot(tyson) on MR2oc.com, think he sells them through twosrus. The skylines have had good results with them keeping the mains in check.

Salazammer

You running the hks 87mm hks stroker kit?

Apparently you can get hks to make 86mm versions with the same wrist pin height, Will be the way il go when/if the block cracks.

yes HKS 87mm.

I might sleeve the block if it cracks and get a girdle to stop any further cylinder wall cracking.

Mine is a gen 3. The one in the US will fit the block with some minor mods to the oil lines.

Anything that could extend the life of the block sounds good to me :D

your talking about the bottom end girdle yes? as in this pic??

??

because that will not fit! the problem with the gen3 is that the sump is partially bolted onto the gearbox.. using this girdle will put all of the sump/gearbox holes well out of line...

a 35r will be better to drive on the road than the t88..but still by no means will it be road friendly!

even a gt3076r on the road is an animal!

Si,

Don't forget to add your dyno results to the garage :D

Hopefully I should be able to get my results up at the end of the month :D

more power and torque.

look through my thread and there is a comparison on the dyno spool

t88 vs gt35r

splitter is finished and on the car, james has put the car back together.

is looking much more sexy under the engine and is well thought out.

look forward to getting here back and back on the dyno and crazy mapped on road.

depending on what happens, full-race full setup is next year.

james, post some pics of mr death-lip
