Post by LewisTaylor »

Got my first mr2 its a My MK2 MR2 Rev4 T-Bar 10th Anniversery Edition (number 25 out of 250) apsolutly mint, especially for a 12 year old car

hoping to get a Tubby in a few years time, got this to learn about the cars before getting a tubby

i absolutly love it, great little car, only problem was the alternator went after 3 days of having it... but thats just sods law haha

i dont plan to do anything to do it up as its such a rare model, im gonna leave it std and mint so i can keep as much value as possible

silver anniversary

nice one
mines a silver one 249/250
looks wise its as standard but it has had a few internal mods
hks exhasut system
new engine mounts and cams
massive hydraulic racing clutch
keep it looking standard but inside upgrades shouldn't ruin it

massive racing clutch

Its a centreforce hydralic clutch that due to the increased size and the Centerforce Weighted Clutch System. it allows for increased pressure plate clamping force while maintaining easy pedal effort and would not allow the diaphragms tendency to ‘stick over-ce. and it was over a grand to buy. check out the centreforce website for more info

mhmm, and you put that in a NA MR2 why?

I cant think of a lot better things to spend "over a grand" on that a clutch that will never be used to its full potential?

clutch

Post by draw »

yeah, the previous owner put it in. i wouldn't have wasted my money on that but as it came with the car at no extra cost im not complaining and asking for a crappy standard clutch that is why
