[All] [Generic] SPraying advice

Post by Rev1Richie »

hi

I'm in the process of spraying the interior of the car, dont worry i take it out first.., i'm sparaying the lower door card panel, this is basically a plastic moulding with a leather effect covering. Now i cleaned the surface with spirit cleaner, and gave it 3 coats of white primer, left 24 hrs to dry and then sprayed the final colour, 3 -4 light coats seems to have done it.

Now my question is, is that it!, or is there someting else i can spray on top to protect it, i've got a clear cellulse spray but that would seem to give the surface a shine, i'm wondering if there is a surface protection spray (to stop chips etc) that doesn't effect the finish.

Regards

i hope that you've used flexible paint suitable for painting plastic. otherwise the paint is going to crack.
