Cool,

I have a line lock on my car too, i was going to remove it as i didnt know how safe they are to use on the road, mine has a remote switch to enable or disable the linelock.

5/6th april, shame dont think the car is gonna be ready by then :(

my car is at 3s - please feel free to have a look at it :D

nope, thought you knew about the car.

its been at 3s for 2weeks now,

after a mishap on the dyno.

lots of things are being uprated. fire proofing

and turbo hosing, manifold, wastegate etc will be changed after the summer.

should be back on the road when you have yours mapped.

going to start building the front lip/under carrage from fibreglass this weekend, as im getting a bit bored, lol

there are limits to the .68 housing, and think ive nearly reached it.

it doesnt help when the turbo is non devided.

performance cat is being cut out.

The only true twin scroll manifold that i know of is a modified one by full race that has a true T4 exhaust housing. But is your exhaust divided?

Thats a good figure mate, would be happy with that :D

Im hoping for something higher, but anything above 600RWHP would be sweet, gonna see what that T88 can do....

Same about your car, im gonna have to have a spin once you get it back on the road, will change my turbo at some point, maybe move to a GT40 or GT42....

Whats the score with the body kit? I have a bodykit project starting shortly.... but its hush hush to what it is at the moment :D

Look forward to meeting up with you, would be good to put a face to the car.

ay have to book 28th off it seems.

is it being done during the day?

im building the front for downforce.

i have 40kg roll of fibreglass and 30kg of resin in my shed

my manifold is twinscroll, but full race is on the list, so with a 1.06 housing after speaking with geoff.

will spool better than current .68 housing and make the high end power and boost.

Its twinscroll? Interesting, is it a true twinscroll with twin wastegates?

Geoff is great, and full race make some of the best kits around!!! you will not go wrong there.

You gonna stay GT35 or perhaps have a look at a GT37?

There is a gt37  ? or is that a hybrid?

salamanzer... if your after 600whp on pump and want to maintain any type of driveability, then i would be using a GT4088r NOT a T88 !!

The car had a T88 fitted when i got it.... once i have found out what the performance is like it will be swapped out for something larger/newer.

Over time, the car will progress don't you worry ;)

The GT37R is also know as the T4/T67 hybrid i think.

jesus larger than a t88  what you hoping for... 1 millionnnnn bhp

personally i reckon that anything bigger just wont work on our lil 4-pot engines. the t88 on a correctly suited engine is rated to something like 1100bhp ! the reason it will not make that much power on a 3s-gte is because the engine simply does not displace enough air to produce the boost to hit them figures! even a gt35r is designed to work on 3L +

also remember ,by using a Larger turbo, you shift your curves to the right .. makes your car very slow followed by lots of wheelspin! you should get rid of the T88 and go for something Smaller! gt4088,4096r ... then you will regain area under your curve in the lower rpms, making the car 'theoretically' faster!

Lol, 1 billion horse power....

Na, bearing in mind this will not be driven on the street very often im happy to have a slightly less streetable car. The car as it was before i had spent additional money on getting it to make more power was making 400+ by 5.5K, and the curve is pretty much vertical @ 1.4BAR. The car will be remapped around the 1.7 to 1.8BAR mark, would expect around 600RHWP but will have to wait and see what ryan can get out of the engine.

The old dyno map also had problems, some of the pipework didnt have clips and boost was being lost there.... the inlet manifold had a hole in it... this doesnt make for a good powered car, and it still made 475 at the hubs :D and the top of the graph was very hilly showing that it had some problems at higher revs, if the top of the graph was good, i would have put it at over 500 hub by 6K.

I agree there are better turbo's but i wanna see what this T88 can do first :thumleft:

I had the manifold custom made, and was supposed to be a one-off, but it seems full-race have made a few.

Looking good greeny, i take it this isnt a top mount turbo. Yep full-race make some excellent manifolds and turbos (modified garrett's).

GT40 nice..... :D what you looking to make at the wheels with that beastie?

Bottom mount,

Probably by the time its finished, the world will of run out of fuel to power it ](*,)

Ive just bought my 1st house so this is well and truly on the back burner, unfortunately. been on axle stands now for 18 months already.

When it runs it should be over 500+ on pump if it doesnt crack 1st
