your better off using the st185 rubber sock as it doesnt need to be modded to fit.

km...just been told i may have a problem fitting the core i may need to move the bit that goes to the throttle body hosing as i have a rev 2 but see you do aswell so was wondering if you had any trouble fitting it

did you use a st205 sock or a 185 as im going to be ordering some bits for it soon

i got a few part numbers just wanna make sure

got part numbers for the sock, throttle cable bracket and support braket for the throttle body

It's the ST205 sock...

I've done a few now. All I do is extend the holes inwards to line up with the throttle body. If you look closely, I also taper the Allen bolt head (x4) to accomodate the rubber better. You'll have to look at the photo infull size...

Which 'bit' are you talking about?

i was told i may need to move the pipe that goes to the charge cooler from the throttle body if that makes sense which would mean cutting it apart which im not keen on but glad you put my mind as ease

when connecting the dump valve do i just need a bit of hose and thats it

do you remember what sort of hose i will need and how much to do the rad and pump etc

And for the bends...

... to stop the hose kinking.

Yup... use the black celica hoses in the engine bay and the yellow underneath where they won't be seen.. :thumleft:

Don't go chopping any sock or CC away.. I do warm the in & out pipes underneath though, in order to put a 1/2" extension and twist them slightly to miss the coolant casting.

one of the mounting points come close on the cambelt side but the other two you need to get rid of since the coolant housing is in the way. they in and out pipes i found i needed to trim aswel as the cam cover breather, (if its a rev1)

cheers karam

p.s. these might help but not sure.

bee looking more into this and have read a few people have been putting temperature sensors in the front for the charge cooler

this is the sensor i will be using as reccomended

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... PIC&ih=002

got to get something from maplins to convert the power sorce from 12 v to 5 v and wire it all up

was thinking on the plastic bit by the gear stick in the middle at the back and use bullet connectors so i can unplug it should i ever need to

was told about this for re lagging it as its falling apart at the minute so this should be suitable for the job and should have plenty to do it all

http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_in ... ts_id=1604

is there anything else i should need do you think to do the job thast not mentioned
