They definitely loved it!
Mind you, all the other reviews I've read/seen are similar... Wow.

Its suposed to be better on PS3 slightly because of the use of the hard drive (360 cant use the Hard drive because of that stupid core they released that didnt have a Hard drive as standard which means game dev's cant use the advantage of the hard drive like they can on the PS3   )

If you have both PS3 and 360 its best to go with what ever one all your friends are going for as multiplayer is suposed to be amazing :D

Cant wait till tomorrow!!

I phoned my local game this morning to check how much stock they had, they told me they had 70 for ps3 and over 100 for xbox, they are opening the doors at 6am and taking no more reservations over the phone (considered a bribe). I went in to a panick and then remembered I reserved a copy months ago on my game card, phew! Checked and my copy will be there, no way am I getting up that early!

5.4.3.2.1 and the sadness begins..........

I might buy this in a few months time when all the hysteria slows down lol.
Quick question though, will I be bothered that I have never played any of the others?

I think you have missed out if you haven't played any of the previous versions because those of us who have are well aware of what a stonking game the GTA series is.

I have spent more time playing GTA (3 onwards though i have played the original for a bit in the mid/late 90s) than any other game. I played San Andreas over a two year period.

Get it now. Going by the reviews and from what i've seen this is going to be absolutely stonking. Just so glad its a bank holiday weekend coming up. :+:

Big blow for PS3's :(

BUT ..... PS3 "might" have it later (will keep everything crossed) and if MS coughed up 50 million for it i'm sure the end user isn't going to get it cheap.

In all honesty though, there'll be more than enough to do in the game without worrying about downloads for the moment.

No doubt as time goes on stuff will appear. Historically the PSN is always floggin add-ons, downloadable content and the like.

If you do all the side missions there's supposed to be around 100 hours in it so at the progress i was making in San Andreas i should have it completed around 2013 :D

Not sure if the 100 hours includes the compulsary dicking around the GTA games have to offer
