I only get it when I hit small bumps / dips in the road.

Yup same here,
Little bumps, the big stuff aint a problem.
Worse is a continus mildly uneven surface, its more like a hollow rumble then.
Annoying as Fooooooook!

hmmm have you checked all the anti roll bars, bushes etc.....
and the wheels i.e jack them up and wiggle the wheel like they do on an mot, check for play in wheel bearing also play in the bushes!!
other than that i dont know what to suggest without lookin myself!

The other thing to check which is giving me noises is the topmount nut, check its very tight. You'll probably have to grip the upper spring collar to do it though otherwise it will all turn together.
I can't seem to get a good enough grip on the collar, even using wood and my C spanner - 'ing annoying!!!!!!
If you jack the troublesome corner up, lever the wheel up and down whilst holding the nut, you'll know if ts loose as they'll be vertical play.
