after watching top gear tonight it got me thinking about that beast of a road in italy

hows about this one!


travel to dover from wherever! then the ferry to dunkerque!



at the point where it passes KOLN you could also hit the nurburgring as its just of the main motorway, then the journey continues until.......



dreaming out loud anyway............

thinking of doing a drive out early next year around may time any takers?

Be careful round Cologne... they're not huge fans of the Brits at the moment. We all got escorted from Germany when we went through there on the ModBall back in June. Should be alright as long as people aer sensible, but they really are strict on people misbehaving, which is always a possibility when travelling in large groups.

Jo, for next years Spa and Ring trip we would like to take in a bit of a tour which would include the Stelvio amongst possibly some other passes too. Sort of make it a bit of a touring holiday.

Strange, I clicked on the clubmr2 forum link and onto one of the threads and got pictures of people doing it! Cheers Jo. I dear I may have committed a sackable offence tho, just as well I'm in charge of IT really.

Anyway, that one's not until August so it would be nice to see if Laurens trip was any sooner.

Im going to be doing a euro trip in the later part of august with friends, ending in italy. When was this trip planned for exactly?
