[Mk2] [Turbo] Trim panels to replace and dreaded toblerones...?

Post by ELS »

Can anyone tell me where i can purchase trim panels painted or unpainted to replace the toblerones on jap imports?

I've been along to toyota and they come in quite expensive. There was a site www.themr2store.com that sold these priced at $105 around £52 shipped, painted and ready to fit but the sites closing down or something.

Apparently there are many uk suppliers that stock these, does anyone have any suggestions or know of any other sites that sell them?

Regards els

Buy them direct from your local Toyota dealer:

52713-17030 Moulding, Front Bumper Side, LH £16.18 incl VAT

52712-17030 Moulding, Front Bumper Side, RH £18.05 incl VAT

which is £34.23 for the pair

BTW its not a mistake the driver side is more expensive than the passenger side

The ones Ive quoted come in black primer and will need painting. You can get pre-painted but they are expensive.

You Dont, Mine passed the MOT Fine without them and I was stopped by the traffic police (the ones in the T5's) for having an illegal plate (should have just left the legal plate on that I used for the MOT :( ) and they checked the car over and said nothing about having no side indicators :thumleft:

He even took some photos of the car after writing me the ticket hehe
