Rev 1 turbo with a few extra goodies.......Needs a little tlc

Post by 2Crooky »

Hey peeps 8)

Well i am looking at either breaking my baby or selling her as a whole. Ideally i want to sell her in one piece as i don't have the time or space to break her.

she's a rev 1 turbo with 140 000km which is roughly 90 000miles. Engine is very strong and she was dyno'd at 227bhp at 0.68bar!!! along with that figure she also made 230lb/ft torque.

My reason for sale is that i now have regular work abroad and need a big estate car to carry all my equipment and keep the mpg fairly low. The car has 5 months tax but only 1 months MOT left on her.

Here's the spec:

MBC wound fully out at present so stock boost
Swoosh boost gauge
NGK Iridium Grade 7 plugs
Magnecor Blue HT leads
Blitz SUS induction kit(new)
Pheonix Power Departure 2 exhaust
Blitz decat pipe
HKS SSQV
Fuel Cut Defender
17" unknown alloy wheels - 7.5" front and 9.5" rear
Tein HA coilovers with topmounts
Pioneer double din head unit
Sparco steering wheel
TRD gearknob

The car has a few little probs -

A few bulbs behind the clocks have blown so its tricky to read certain rev levels.
I ran into someone at 10mph so the front bumper needs replacing along with the drivers side wing. These are just cosmetic.
Rear tyres have some scrub damage to sidewall.

There are only easy probs to fix on her but i don't have the money or time to get them done. This would make a great project car or even better, you could buy it and sell all the aftermaket parts for more than you bought the car for!!

I am asking £1000!!! The engine has been leak down tested and the dyno results speak for themselves. The car is healthy and strong but just needs a push in the right direction.

£1000 ovno as i have to put the funds towards as best an estate car as i can get.

Cheers!

^^^^^ I know!! The car is sweet!! I have put in a big effort to keep her in good condition until the over intrucive ABS decided to send me into the back of someone

Rev 1 turbos are not worth much money these days so i can't expect a great price for it with a bu88ered front bumper...... I may have the car MOT'd and sell it for a bit more.

Only other option is to garage her for now until mid summer declaring her SORN but it seems such a waste!!

too cheap my friend!
(i'm gonna start a new movement to boost the price of rev1's and then sell mine for £5000 lol)

Seriously tho you should keep it for that price mate. It was looking good at the dyno day - just spend a few £££ on a bumper and she'll be good as new!

this is my old car and also cliffs old car so been on imoc for a few years now, i had it for around a year or so and i hace to say the car is in great condition the engine is strong and making v.nice power for under std boost, me and james at 3s were talking about this car and he was also shocked at how well it went for what is ment to be a std engine, might be worth getting the crank case off just to see if theres anything hiding in there

oh and from the best of my knowlage the tbars dont leak either, v.good car for the money and at a grand thats just sooooo cheep, mot £50 and repair the bumper £500 max and uv got a blody gd car for bu88er all

good luck alex hope everything goes well for u bud :thumleft:
