Ok bought a Auto Gauge tachometer which according to the guy in the shop comes with ful fitting instructions. However the all important wire eludes me.
Red = 12v Ignition Switch
Black = Ground
Yellow = 12v Battery
Greeen = Tacho Terminal ????
As i have quickly discovered that i dont have a clue what i am doing i need HELP
I have a 1994 Mk2 Rev 3 Turbo.
I presume i have electronic ignition?
If so where do i wire the green wire 2, i thought it would just come off something on the back of the speedo cluster but im completly lost
Help please

Re: Help Fitting Auto Gauge Tachometer
After many hours on the internet I have now discovered all i need to do is wire this to the negative terminal of the coil.
Next stupid question, where is that???
Will there be a wire that i can splice in the dash or a connection on the back of the dial cluster, so that i don't have to run a wire from the engine bay?

Re: Help Fitting Auto Gauge Tachometer
Just to close the thread off and in case anyone else is interested, The black wire that runs into the back of the dashboard does the job, without having to run the wires through to the engine
