Garrick and I will be there
Re: Donny, 15th Dec, BaT
I'm there, but driving a BatCat because my car's only just come back from having it's engine replaced.

I'll be there on the Sunday. Got a new guy trying out for the MR2 Championship so obviously I have to take my car out too!
You coming Rowly? Maybe bring your turbo instead of the race car so you can at least keep up...

Pat, you do realise I'd confidently own your skinny a55 be it in my Challenge n/a or my turbo.
I'm 50/50 at the moment buddy for this Sundays Trakzone event...

So we're arriving fashionably late... (But £70 better off!)

They don't let you block off the circuit on a trackday though.

The red monster will hopefully make it to this one, many thanks to Jonny@BAT for sorting me out after I didn't make it to Anglesea

'kin ell mate
Just for sheer inconvenience, I'd have stuck with an MR2
Please pop over at least and introduce yourself. I know you've been to loads of BaT days, but I don't know if we have actually met yet. I'll be helping out on they day as general dogs body and pit lane-age

Re: Donny, 15th Dec, BaT
Will do. I'm in Bat6 and I'm sharing it with another guy, but i'll be the one with the matt black helmet. Its going to be quite a busy day for me as there's quite a few people there i need to speak to and it also the memorial day for Peter (PJL) but i'll try and pop over to say hello. But if you see me first in the BatCat, say hello.
I love my S2k, just seem to have been very unlucky. One of the 5 engines blew straight after fitment because the dealer messed up the install, and i suspect that the first engine that blew died because the pervious owner had over revved it. But i bought the current car new and have just been unlucky to have had a dodgy oil pump.
As i said, thank god for warranties!

Have to say - a really great day, despite our technical problems with SC belts/ignition/wheel bearings, really enjoyed the car.
Also - a really fitting tribute, and the sound of all of the VTECs on the grid Kudos to the S2ki club for sorting it all out, the attendence really was impressive.

We normally get 20 ish cars at the days i organise. Today we got the same number of cars driving, and a similar number there to spectate.
Was a really good day. I spoke briefly to Garrick, missed ben and speedy.
Ben, did you have your mk3 turbo on track? looked like i saw you pulling out of the queue at the last red flag for a quick fuel top up.

Good to meet you eventually, Mr Lower. Glad you enjoyed your day out in BaT6
It was a good day - I only got to out twice during the day and felt quite at home in the SC despite taking it fairly easy. But not complaining as I was actually working... LOL!

I sat behind a blue mk1 for a couple of corners.
It drifted round the corner pretty well!
Was that you Garrick?

That may well have been speedy - he was out gooning in the afternoon (as the wheel bearing on the front offside was dodgy, so heavy braking was a bit troublesome -- easier to scrub the speed off by going sideways )
