Matt, I have got a G-Tech pro meter that you can borrow if you want

You'll have to come and pick it up though, or I could post it to you, I guess.

Plugs into the fag lighter, and suckers to the window.
Managed 4.8 seconds on my 200SX (using RLTC launch control). Once set up properly it is allegedly accurate to +/- 1% (ie. 0.05 seconds on a 5 second 0-60).

It will also do 0-100, 100-0, 60-0 and 1/4 mile (if you can find a private runway somewhere LOL )

PM me if you want to borrow it :thumleft:

Unless your redline is different, you wont make 60! Don't try [-X

like to know where you found this, cuase theres no way a stock rev3 tubby will do 5.3 or even a 5.7 for rev1/2, to 60 IF you have to change into 3rd gear!

14.5... :?
a rev3 is not nearly a second quciker down the 1/4mile with only 20more hp and zero more torque...

Err 60 in 2nd is easy.

My best time I got when I had my friends G meter for a short while.

My old rev1 was timed professionally at a 1/4 mile event at 4.61 0-60 that was with 270 ish WHP
i would say that rev3 with stockish boost (after all stock boost for rev3 is 13psi isn't it (0.9 bar) than with a good launch should do the stock time maybe a bit better considering you have a boost controller so no ecu limiting of boost in early gears
so all being good with launch ,maybe 5 secs on the nose
I would like to hope that my car with 350WHP would do low 4's

Stupid question but i was wondering if the cogs in A Rev1 N/A would be up to the job mated with a tubby engine as the gears in the N/A are a bit longer!!!

i dont think there strong enough mate. change the final drive to that out of a solara tho and it will add length to your gears.

Should be running a low 5sec to 60mph with them mods and a good launch, i ran a 5.1 on my performance meter with similar mods to you. If you get a bad launch too much spin in 1st usually end up with a late 5sec run.
Its not easy to get the perfect run especially as the roads are getting slippery this time of year.

so GTS rev3 Vs a GT rev2....weight difference there.
anyone like to point me to some time slips of ANY stock rev3s anywhere near this time???? cause i personally think that either the gen2 car didnt get a good time, or there was more than just a stock car for a rev3 to be pulling a low 13....
hell, look at the times on this forum, low 13s are barely had from bolt on mods and high boost! let alone stock engine and stock boost.

Yup right here.

Managed a 13.5 stock, with a LONG 60ft time.

60ft was 2.17, Terminal speed 106.1, 1/4 13.5.

That was when i 1st got the car, and was stock.

And i have never seen a stock rev 1 get 14.2 either..... fastest i have seen is 14.4

Shibs , that is a VERY high terminal speed for a stock car. :thumleft:
