[Mk2] [NA] rev3, fitting induction kit

Post by mr2guy »

hi all, been a while since ive been on here and have since bought a rev 3 n/a which is all good, however i have a rev 1 with an induction kit on it that i am hoping to swop over to my new rev 3 will it fit or will there be any problems as the kit has a solid alluminium pipe that bolts on inplace of the entire air box unit on my rev 1, and has a fitting for the original air temp sensor ?(looks like the one fixed to the engine cover) any help appreciated before i rip things off, cheers , jim

im no mechanical head either mate so bear with me

What i mean by that is with the rev 1 +2's im sure theirs a flange/adaptor for fitting the intake onto the airflow meter, The rev 3 doesnt have a airflow meter (i dont think) So the kit comes with no flange..... meaning the neck of the induction kit just slide's in the intake pipings and jubilee clips on,

Hoep it makes a little bit of sense
