Changing someones mind? Where have I asked for that to happen?
I've maintained, at pains, that it's the opinion of the driver, and using 'better' is inappropriate.

So now you are arguing semantics with someone.
Either way, do you really think either you or Lauren are going to admit to the other person they were worng, come round to their viewpoint or is this thread going to just be a continuous downward spiral?
Not aimed at you only Andy, just don't see why this thread is still going at all.
I am going to live forever, or die trying!

Well I'm enjoying the read. It's refreshing and very entertaining to see one party is struggling to come to terms with some home truths.
Please, recommence...

It's continuing my dear friend, because Porsche Boxster drivers are clearly not bigger nobs than Beemer drivers, since Lauren is a Beemer driver!!
I think arguing the meaning of the term "better" is valid. If you don't, then don't post.
Re: Porsche Boxster drivers - bigger knobs than Beemer drivers?
can we chip in for a hotel room and a lot of anti baby makers for them?
Re: Porsche Boxster drivers - bigger knobs than Beemer drivers?
I have been enjoying the read, but ultimately there can be no satisfactory conclusion.
Both parties deem themselves to be "in the right". As indeed they should, even if with diametrically opposed views. They are merely points of view, from a different angle. One man's meat is another man's poison, as they say.
Although I would say there is no need to be abusive or aggressive in an attempt to become the dominant party, no matter how frustrating it is when you think no-one is listening.
God it would be an awful world if we all had the same opinions.
Brook.

GAIDMGLOL! I guess if nothing else works you can always resort to personalising your aggression.
Something that always strikes me when the kids at work argue with staff is how they always go for the minutae of detail in an effort to bolster their argument, though all that happens is that they tie themselves in knots with it.

EDIT: Re-read when sober and I'd like to retract what I wrote here.

I guess my point is you are happy surrounding yourself with people that make you feel 'superior'. Personally that would not satisfy me sufficiently. I require slightly more stimulation to be honest, and "that" kind of work wouldn't really suit me, so I guess you stick to your 'kids' eh? Probably best for you, if not necessarily for them.
Brilliant Andy. I would expect no less.

How old the Porsche? TBH I don't think I would ever want to drive one pre 1998.

My MD bought a Carera 4s a few weeks ago in a rather fetching charcoal colour, he took me out sat morning in it before work and my god does the thing move! It wasn't so much the outright speed as the lack of effort it seemed to need to do it!
