Just a thought tho, silvered indicator bulbs would clean it up a treat, and get rid or the orange blur

You've missed the point...

Those photos above are with the shutter as fast as possible and all the settings as unsensitive as I could. This is what I get with a 'normal' camera.....

Check out the light reflection on the right hand side - the garage door frame, and the floor...







I drove to work this morning at 6:30am with just these on... Oh, the looks I got!!!

Wow I didnt realise they were that bright. I need some new reflectors as well this would be the perfect chance to setup my lighting to perfection as I have HID Raybrigs!!
When you gonna post up a DIY tutorial or can u just do mine and ill pay u a lil commission fee

Right... fed up with this. People keep walking past my house and looking at me creeping round the car like a loon.

Just to add, there is no other light in the lens, just the LED strip.

All I've done is took the lens off with a hairdryer, bought a strip of LEDs that is see-through, stuck 'em in and wired them up. Et voila!!

Where did you get the Leds- are they the 24 led strips from ultraleds?

Also how do they effect the indicator ...can you see it at night with the brightness of those Leds?

Fresh ideas like this are great.... How long before there on ebay... I'd get your sidelights protected before someone steals that idea and starts making them to sell.

I now have my LED strips and will be looking at doing this hopefully over the weekend. I have no idea what im doing - i dont even know how to remove the lenses so it could get interesting.
