You may be wondering where this ‘Ollie@skyinsurance’ has suddenly popped up from!!

Let me explain: My old user name was ‘Charged’, I have been on IMOC for a couple of years. I have taken on a new job as Customer Services Manager for Sky Insurance hence the change of user name. Sky Insurance is an authorised IMOC Affiliate and offer a 20% discount for IMOC club members.

This is a bizarre situation I find myself in, I am going to be carrying on my Mk1 Club Section Moderator role as I enjoy this very much, I will also continue to spend time posting in all of the different IMOC forums, the only difference you should notice is my change of user name, and due to the fact I am now representing Sky Insurance perhaps some of my posts will be less tongue in cheek. Please do bare in mind that I am an Mr2 enthusiast and I am not spamming the boards to promote the company I work for.

I will also be continuing with my position of ‘Herts, Beds & Bucks area organiser for the Mr2 Mk1 Club, please watch the events page for details of any meets.

If you have any questions, either insurance, MR2 or personal please do not hesitate in contacting me, I will be happy to answer them.

I was a tad confused till i read here :roll:

with my thinking cap on....
you could advertise in the mk1 magazine, as i dont think you will be in direct competiton with houghtons, as i guess you can insure all mk1s whatever the mileage, rather than just a classic scheme that houghtons offers?

maybe worth you asking the chairman?
