Running to much boost

after having my engine light come on with fault 34 i reset the ECU and checked the boost presure and i'm running 1.6 bar of boost and as far as i know the car is stock could it be a faulty vsv?

You've definately got some problem there. Check all the pipe work, like the pipe from the turbo to the actuator. Be very carefull as that much boost on a rev1 will quickly end in tears.

1.6 Bar on a rev 1?!?!?!

1.03 Bar is 15 PSI and should be the safe boost limit run on a rev 1 with the FCD set at 16 PSI

You should have hit fuel cut before you hit 1.6 bar.??

My rev 1 had a split in the hose between the turbo and actuator and did this but my fcd was set to 15.5 psi so I never went as high as 1.6 bar.

I bet it flew
