[Mk2] [Turbo] HKS OR BLITZ

Post by lecutusuk »

I have a HKS super dragger currently, but have always loved the look of the Nur Spec (I have only eer seen photos mind you!)

Which would you say would be better? The HKS is relitively quite but looks great, I have heard that the Nur spec has a nicer rumble????

Should I sell the HKS for a Nur Spec? \:D/

im in Andover, hampshire, also would have no idea of how to get it off, im right around the corner from Millway, they could swap it for us whilst we wait im sure for a few quid each? I also have the flexi section which is fine which you will need as the nur replaces from the downpipe, In fact I have 2 flexi centre sections, one on the car and one brand new genuine toyota part, if you wanted to meet at millway and agree to pay my bill to swap bax boxes you can have that too whilst your at it! (£180 from MR T) millway bill prob £60 ish, upto you ill sell it otherwise

I rekon the blitz exhaust just has far to many bends for a good exhaust.

Its like a pi$$ed snake

I just remade my HKS and cut off around 3.5 to 4foot and all the boxes.

Its now on the Right hand side and the total length from CAT pipe is 3.5 foot to exit.

Too loud, and doesn't flow as well as a twin pipe design. Thats why there's never been one on mine.

Berk. It's the way forward. :thumleft:

Superdragger is on the quiet side, NUR is on the loud drone side. Both look great.

I'd go Motoria/Japspeed as you get a great growling, popping and banging exhaust note and the looks of the superdragger - oh and its fecking light (and cheap) too

Cheers all

Think its Nur spec Time, wanna change the look of ther rear of my car, and want the noise.

Just inspected the HKS, there is a small dent on the left hand side can, and scrapes on both, not damging to the apperance or functionality at all, none of which were made by me! other than the odd niggle that you would prob get 50 miles down the road any way its lovely! and will have a good polish if someone wants a swap for a nur spec (must be in great condition, or i will sell and buy a new nur spec.

:thumleft: Dan's Nurspec was/is very good nick from what i recall.

For myself the HKS is the best have tried a few in my time.

Do really rate the Berk and if i did not have the HKS berk for sure 8)

Having said that the tamer quieter HKS but still very good flowing

is now a rumbling growling machine due to the HKS 264/264 cams
