[Mk2] [Turbo] KPH to MPH

I have 110mph at the moment but have a chip to install behind the speedo to get rid of the limiter and change from KPH to MPH.

Does anyone know if the speedo will change to 160MPH or 180MPH??

A chip won't change the rev 1 speedo at all, they only work on rev 2 to 5 cars. It may remove the limit but if you have power steering and the chip isn't a clamping type then the PAS will stay on at motorway speeds.

For a rev 1 you need either a UK speedo and a clamping delimiter, or a converter gearbox that goes into the speedo cable (also messes with PAS).

ok so really the only way to do it properly is is to get a uk speedo, off a Celica GT4 maybe?? all uk mr2's are na so only 160mph right?
