[Mk2] [Turbo] help me solve this problem!

my car under acceleration keeps randomly dropping power its very hard to explain, but basically you eccelerate and the car randomly looses powere then comes back, looses it comes back etc.. it feels very weird and also sounds abit weird to. kinnda like its misfiring. any one got any ideas?
i dont wanna spend £160 on plugs dizzy cap etc to find its the same!

first thing is to check water hasnt got into the spark plug wells,especially on number 1 cylinder.

no water, also the car is boosting at 0.7 bar (10PSI) :cry:

its a Rev 3, normally boosts at 1 bar

If its standard should only be boosting to 0.9 bar, 13psi, but in 1st and 2nd the boost is limited to 10psi, so did you take you reading in 2nd?

What limits it to 10 psi in first and second?

The ecu does to maximise traction i believe. Is a cool feature when you think about it.
