About six months ago I moved to the Northants area, and have noticed that there haven't been any IMOC meets so far, so thought it was about time we addressed the issue!

I've PM'd everyone on here who listed their location as being Northamptonshire (or thereabouts!), and have had a pretty good response so far - many thanks to those that got back to me.

From the responses so far, it looks like Six Fields would be the favoured option for the meet location, but I'm flexible on the date/time, so any suggestions would be great! :D

(I'd be interested to find out if anyone from Wellingborough fancies going as there are five Mk2s on one 200 yard stretch of road!)

Anyone up for this and/or can suggest a date and time?

Garrick & I will be there with one or two MK1's :mrgreen:

wednesdays are not good for us, but other days are fine - eves best after 7.30pm.

are we going to grab a bite to eat too?
there are a few eateries there.


would be good to catch up with you nige :D

Evenings are cool...to be honest, I was thinking about a Sunday afternoon or something, but I'm happy to go along with whatever everyone else wants really! :D

can't make that date - its the mk1 club monthly meet, sorry

feb/early would be fine with me/us

I've got my Peugeot-loving friend up that weekend, and was I going to shows him what a real car is like! :D Oh, and take him to Santa Pod as I'm having terrible withdrawal symptoms.

How about the weekend after?

1pm at Six Fields. Never been there before, so I hope there's some sort of easy landmark at the place so we can all find each other! :eye:

If the Track MK1's brakes are sorted I'll bring that down and Jo can bring the SC. If not Jo could possibly bring Tango and I'll bring the SC 8)
