[Mk2] [Turbo] rev1 turbo

Post by chriminator100 »

Hi all, after coming back home for christmas, i found my car was broken again  and after replacing all parts of my ignition, it still goes into limp home mode after hitting boost, generally around .85-.9 bar. It has an fcd which i have tried adjusting but to no avail. An error code of 34 always comes up. Am i right in thinking it may be the map sensor at fault? chris

to be honest id say your fcd isnt doing its job and you hit fuel cut as 0.9 is pretty much fuel cut territory

aah right, ive got a blitz turbo timer with digi boost guage, am i right in thinking to test the fcd id have to find a way of creating an accurate air pressure into the map sensor and see if the signal from the fcd has clamped the voltage? chris
