Cheers guys, i will miss santa pod with it i have to admit, but i can't afford to run a toy as a day to day car anymore anyway so a reshell is out of the question.

I'd rather see the engine and box live on with someone else that will give it the life it needs.

Sorry to hear that mate, it's a good lesson though for others. You were probably one of the few people here that can actually drive an mr2 properly and it can still do that to you.

OMG!!! just seen this! gut wrenching photos there. glad your ok, never had the pleasure of seeing it in the flesh!

not quite as bad as smashing it up, but i had my engine melt last week! i know what you mean about losing the passion. but for me that lasted a few hours before thought of shiney new engines and things started fling round my head!

you might not feel like it now, but the craving will get the better of ya! once a two owner, always a two owner.
