Some will tell you that they are terrible in wet weather but I have used them through two winters now and have found them to be much better than I had been led to believe.
Given the power of my car this is no mean feat

Are their better wet weather tyres out there, yes of course.
But I don't drive hard when it's wet in any case so I don't have the need for them

I personally think that regardless of tyre choice, when you have a big bhp MR2 you would be made to nail it in the wet no matter what rubber you have!![]()
I have found the R888 to offer decent levels of road driving grip and would not even by a long way describe them as being dangerous
under normal wet weather
/ road driving conditions
Like already mentioned their are obviously better tyres for the job of wet weather driving, but, come dry road time you'll be hard pushed to find a better performer![]()

S03's as mentioned would also be my own choice if diving fast in the wet was my thing. But to be honest i'd sooner not risk having an off so avoid fast/wet driving
Still have to say that I don't suffer from any form of iffy noises though Patrick![]()
