Active member should mean providing a contribution to the club.

I appreciate that not everyone goes to events or wants to go and that there will always be inactive members.

Some people just want the magazine and the technical support and that is fine.

It just seems to be that to the public eye the same people are constantly being the driving force behind the club, constantly organising the events and constantly being called upon to give up their time for the other members to have the club they want.

My post was more about picking out a specific example of what I saw as non co-operation by the club members, that out of so many members no-one appeared to be ready to step forward, I know some people where going to be providing cars for the show and that it was impractical for them to assist, but out of so many members it seemed ridiculous that not one person would step forward to help out.
