thats about right for a rev2 running standard boost they rarely make 220 as quoted from new

induction kit , exhaust , de-cat ,and fcd then 15psi should cure that

yep, apexi induction (including b*oody goose honk noise) and an apexi exhaust are on there, with (one of the?) cats removed. might put the standard airbox back on this afternoon, felt more pokey than with the induction kit.

mbc and fcd are my plan depending on engine condition. \:D/

sounds about right dude a lot of rev1/2's dont make there claimed figure.

my old rev1 got 179whp with just an exhaust - i was gobsmacked!

what relavance is that dude, you have a rev3, more boost, hybrid turbo, lol....hardly comparable to say something is up with his :? lol

id say for 9psi, basically stock boost that is about right, not seen any rev1/2s hitting 180whp to hit stock figures at 10psi.....
i hit 180whp at 13psi, exhaust, stock cat in place, apexi induction...
then greddy ic, downpipe and new exhaust 200whp at the same 13psi.....

I assume you used an mbc to get 13psi, why not go to 15?

did you get the strange farting noise with the AFM valve shutting after putting the apexi induction kit on?

not really........but thats normal ive heard anyway the sound, you only get that if your not WOTing.....(ie foot to the floor, if your half boost and release you get funny noises).
why 13 and not 15, well the boost was setup for 15-16psi by myself, and it held that for some of the rev range, but crept down to 13psi by peak hp....my ct26 just couldnt handle raised boost for some reason...
other ct26s have no probs holding 15-16psi to 5500k or so where the peak hp is on raised boost, but i could only hit 13psi by then....so not to bad a figure really, and that was 217whp torque as well (torque was obviously at 15-16psi)....

yeah, thats true, overall tempted to throw in the rev2 towel and head for a rev3 as a starting base. what stopped you from upgrading to rev3?

surely the money needed to get the rev2 to a stable 15psi, and its 'so called' 220whp, you might as well go rev3 then increase boost form there.

doesnt take any money to get a rev1/2 to hold a stable 15psi to peak hp, my ct26 however just wasnt having any of it......
everyones elses ct26 can hold that no worries to peak hp.....
highest ive seen on a ct26 in the uk is 212whp and he had a blitz ecu....(maybe others higher, but not heard about them)....

why didnt i sell up, cause i had spent a fortune already on modifications and personal touchs, the engine was and still is mint, never let me down in the time ive had it. i knew the history of my car and how it had been looked after for the 2 years previous. whats to say i sold up, bought a rev3 and the engine blew a month later.

you only need the turbo from the rev3 to be hitting those figs....

Tell the likes of Mark Edwards and Andi Martin that. Both thier cars are running close to 400bhp. Mine should be over 450bhp when it's finished and ALL of them...

...are Rev 1's.

See! There's life in the old girl yet!

if you want that sort of hp, i dont think theres any advantage going rev3 over rev1/2, both will need pistons/hg i believe depending on the boost being run, rebuild bascially to support that power. mainly for safety....guy in US was running like 500-600bhp on a stock engine (so to speak), and that was a rev1/2 engine....

you havent even raised the boost on the stock ct26 yet, wait til you do that and come back to us and say, "holly crap, its well fast".......

yep! mbc has to be done, only problem is a dodgy head gasket, apparantly not worth worrying about...yet. but 'keep an eye on it' ??! ](*,)

if i can get that sorted cheap, im in!

otherwise i will have to pootle around till spring for the sales season!
