They look good mate, Its great to see people doing different things. What colour is your car by the way? Any more pics of it? Looks like a matt colour from that pic.

Its matt black...well..."Satin" actually!

I really must take some better pix since the bodywork has been sort of finished!

This gives a rough idea: think F-117 Stealth fighter..... :D

Its had new rear arches, drivers door and front wings, and is Waxoyled virtually everywhere that matters!

Next year: lots of tuning to do...!

Mods so far?

AE101 S/C engine, Magnex SS box, K+N cone filter in boot compartment, with modded pipes, Water Injection, uprated brakes, removed intercooler so no pressure drop/heatsoak :D  ...

New year......replacing the Roots with something....er...a little more efficient  , Megasquirt 2 ECU, uprated fuel pump/injectors........and maybe a Pace I/C/ Spal fan setup.....?

Ooo..very nice. I've got 288 deg cams, throttle bodies and a GEMS ECU. Not running very well at the moment so tuning has been put back again. No idea what it's running but should be a bit more than the standard 125bhp. :D

Now cams and TB's appeal to me

I dont think i'll take my tuning much further as regards engine internals, though...

Everyone seems to be ditching the 4AG engine and sticking tubby/V6 lumps in the back!

It seems there is a craze for power, but the 4A engine in a mk1 chassis has loads of potential: I know that I can get a reliable 200-220hp out of my engine by next summer without spending really large amounts of dosh!

The 4A is proven in racing and can get 250hp NA when well tuned!

So I wont be dumping my GZE...I love it! 8)

Are your cams/ECU part of a "trakpac" from RAW engineering, by any chance?

When I had my NA a couple of years back, I was looking (as you do!) at how to increase power, and came across the trackpac, which appeared to offer 170hp from an NA for around £850?

Not from RAW. The cams and ECU are from eBay and the throttle bodies were imported from Japan.
