Hi oukie (Chris ),
I,m Mac and my son Michael and I organise meetings for other MK1 fans in your area .I live in Stanley and Mike lives in Ferryhill. Between us we have 5 MR2's and our local meeting point is the Church Mouse pub on the A167 just south of chester-le-street. We usually meet on the first Sunday of each month around 11:30 in the car park for a natter and decide on the rest of the day after lunch in the pub. (optional ). Have a look at the events page on this forum for updates. We havn't been very active in recent months, mainly because of holidays and Mike getting married and swanning off to the Maldives on honeymoon. Now, back to normality.
If you want any info. about anything MK1 or club related you cam PM me or Mike through this forum, or, e-mail [email protected].
Hope to see you in the near future,
Mac.........

Hmm - wonder if my son Alex ( AlexG ) is the youngest IMOCer - he's 11 and continually nags me to buy him a Mk1 ?

I have offered my 14 year old son a MK1 but as yet he's "not interested" as he wants a better car  should I ask for a DNA test :?
