Surely if you changed the business name to Toyota Service Centre, you'd encapture a larger market ? 3S will mean nothing to many people without any relationship to toyota.

I mean even enigma-performance ( my saturday job ! :D ) doesn't say anything in particular which is the point ... its got RX7's, Hondas Civics/ del sols / Preludes, Nissans 200sx's market too... even scoobies if I didn't stop turning the rechid jobs down.

Word gets around I look after quite a few mk2 cars in the north east and people travel miles to have work carried out on them.

How about the Japanese service centre ! ( lol ! originality ! )

The Nissan SR20DET engines are worth getting an understanding of as they're simply a nissan version of the 3S engine... same problems !

Then theres the next step up, RB25DET / RB26DETT ( skylines ) - 2JZGTE .. though you wouldn't make much money out of the 2JZ work as they're indestructable, the skylines have floors in the bottom end.... and looking from a far... skyline bottom end rebuilds are normally £2500 + ... you sit and work the prices out and tell me how much labour is on that. Fair enough, theres quite a lot of work involved in these larger cars... but thats my point... increasing revenue from other areas.

You nutters!

Your right JJ, but its a little more complex than that!
The garage i am buying has already 2 strings to its bow! im adding the 3rd bud, therefore, 3s also stands for 3 strings,

My garage will now be servicing/repairing/parts supplier for MG/classic cars/and toyota 3s engines.

Work is not in short supply, so im not worried about getting knee deep in poo poo with wacky engine builds just yet!

I have already 3 mechanics with vast experience, and i will be adding a further 2 at which point i can consider another change in direction if required/the mood takes me.

I do however appreciate advice from a experinced tongue, thanks again.

Sorry Fonzy, really busy this morning  Doesn't normally happen, but challenged fate by getting p1ssed last night so I was bound to have a hectic one. Will try and post some later, but Waldo is the best at it (or at least, Waldo has the best tool  ).

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

this has gotta win by miles!!

no pic's, so no bias for cars, but looks like subtlety (real word??) sells itself here!!
