Managed to get decent weather + access to my favourite car park (isn't that sad) all on one weekend!
At last - some nice pics!

Very nice mate, nice and clean. Wish my engine bay looked like yours!
Liking the backdrop as well. =D>
How did you get the engine bay so clean?

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again.....that is one very clean MR2, nice work mate! =D>

Cheers chaps
Urban - I took all of the heat shields & intake manifold off and sprayed them high temp silver. Takes a bit of time but well worth it.
It won't be like this for much longer though - I have a cunning unique idea for the engine

I'll wait and see how cool it looks before I rip the idea off then!

Nice pictures...lovely car...it's a credit to you!
Aren't puddles great for car photos? lol
One thing though (not criticism), in the first two pics the car is a similar colour to the background which gives it a bit less impact - be good to try a contrasting background colour setup (the pink/red/yellow grafitti in the 4th pic would be ideal)...still nice pics though!

Re: At last - some nice pics!
Thanks Suuperbad
Yeah - unfortunately that was the only background where the kids weren't spraying so I had no choice. I know exactly what you mean though. There were some other really nice colours as you can see in the distance.

Re: At last - some nice pics!
I'm just jealous 'cos I've not found any decent graffiti to use as a backdrop
Re: At last - some nice pics!
I know what you mean - good grafitti really is few and far between!
Reading is a big town and with the help of friends we have scoured the whole Town (which is as big as an average city) and this is the only stuff you can park infront of !
If you get a spare 8 hours, drive down and I will take you to it!!! Its a bit of a lottery when the gates are gonna be open though!

Lol, I'm stuck with run of the mill urban decay and hills up here!
Re: At last - some nice pics!
Nice pics dude - second one looks fab! Great lighting!!!
Re: At last - some nice pics!
Thanks Rob, been taking the night shots for a while with a mate (his 200sx's), still learning! We're a bit limited with the shutter speed using his digi camera (15sec max) so are going to try using a 35mm slr next.
Have to get some of mine then I can post them up on here without hijacking someone else's thread
